We are Harmony on the Sound Chorus (a chapter of Sweet Adelines International), and do we love to make great music and have LOTS of fun doing it! If you love to sing, love to perform, and want a chance to do something great for yourself, come join us on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm. We are an organization of women, for women, so don’t be shy… even if you think you can't sing, come visit us and see what you think! We come from all walks of life, different age groups and represent 33 different towns in CT, so no town is too far. If you think this is the “old-time barbershop”… it’s NOT! We are an energetic, dynamic group of women who just love to create great music… did I mention we have fun, too? We’d love to have you come sing with us!

Under the direction of Master Director Karen Sweeters, we sing a cappella four-part barbershop style harmony. Yes, barbershop music, but not exactly what you think. We sing new songs and old songs, songs from Broadway, love songs, the blues and a bit of swing thrown in too. Our repertoire offers a variety of melodies with expression and musical style to capture everyone’s love of harmony.

The Harmony on the Sound Chorus is twelve-time champion of the Sweet Adelines’ North Atlantic Region #1 chorus competition.
